If you are contractor that looks for the best way to organize its finances, Sunshine Contracts have something to offer. When I calculated yearly savings of take home pay on their tax calculator, and compared it to what I was getting with Umbrella Company in Ireland, it looked unreal.

I sent an email out of curiosity, and Ante came back to me instantly. He was very detailed in explaining how the model works. What encouraged me was the fact that Ante and Luka came on an idea for offering this kind of service after they had this set-up for themselves, when they moved back to Croatia from Ireland. They were practically in similar situation as I was, as they had Umbrella Companies registered in Ireland, before they moved back to Croatia, and set up Limited Companies for themselves.

Very soon they realised how much savings this kind of model offers, and that at the end of tax year, in comparison with Umbrella Company in Ireland, they saved around 15% of their take home pay with Croatian Limited Company setup. I must say, setting up Limited Company in Croatia is more complicated then registering Umbrella Company in Ireland, but these guys are experts, and they were guiding me detailly through every step, being at disposal whenever I needed them. Bosko was the guy who accompanied me when I needed to visit physically Government bodies for administration purposes.

He was guiding me and doing the translations. Although visiting government bodies is never fun, with Bosko this process was smooth and straight forward. Overall, all I can do is recommend these guys, and setup they are offering!

Limited Company setup that Ante and Luka presented to me was a perfect match for my needs. After being contractor for serval years in France and Ireland, having various set-up's for my business finances, I found the Limited company set-up in Croatia as one of the most efficient and compliant.

It gives you a lot of flexibility with finances, as you receive whole gross salary on your Limited Company bank account, and then you decide how to sort out the payments for your salary, etc. Ante and Luka are very experienced in this, and they gave me a lot of guidelines how to run my finances efficiently. I ended up tax year with around 80% of retention from my gross earnings, which is great saving, in compare to what I was getting as director of Umbrella Company in Ireland or France.
